Columbia Pi Mu Epsilon hosts talks, problem-solving sessions, reading groups, and community events for students who care about proof and mathematical thinking. Our programming is student-first and welcoming across backgrounds — from students discovering proof-based math for the first time to undergraduates preparing for research, graduate study, and competitions. We’re rebuilding a chapter that makes serious math feel accessible, social, and alive, while staying anchored to Pi Mu Epsilon’s national mission of promoting mathematical scholarship and recognizing student achievement.
If you’d like to partner with Columbia Pi Mu Epsilon, propose a talk, or co-host a workshop, please reach out at columbiapme@gmail.com.
